Ambadassodor.: ohitsquinn: Quinn stood there, watching him examine the box carefully….
Quinn watched as Puck went through the photos with a small smile on her face. “I haven’t looked through them though.. When I saw the box, I immediately closed it and put it away because I wanted to look through it with you,” she whispered, glancing between the box with the items and Puck every few moments. Quinn’s eyes welled up with tears as she looked through the purple box, seeing all the photographs and the clothing that could’ve been Puck and her taking in the past year. “It’s pretty amazing,” she nodded in agreement, her heart breaking, when she took more items out of the box. She took the box from Puck’s lap, leaving it empty and placed herself on his legs so she was sitting on him. Quinn held the box onto her lap, and turned to him. “Normally, fathers who see this box will run away if they saw it..” she began saying softly. “I was scared you’d do it too..” Quinn admitted, out loud. “But I’m really happy you didn’t,” her heart aching from saying those words. Quinn placed her hands into the box and pulled out a notebook. She carefully read through it, noticing it was just mainly scribble. It was Beth’s failed attempt at drawing, but it was the attempt that made Quinn’s heartbreak again. She flipped through the book and three tickets fell out. She pulled them, noticing they were plane tickets to New York.. where Shelby was staying. Quinn read the first page, it was Shelby, asking them to come visit her and Beth since they were on break. And also bring Rachel with them. Quinn turned to Puck, with pleading eyes. “D-Do you want to go?” she asked, her voice cracking.
Puck looked through every piece of clothing and every little picture of his daughter, now a small smile on his face. It still didn’t stop the pain that shot through his chest. He could have been the one to take this photos with Quinn, and instead it was Shelby. She would be a good mother to their baby, he knew that. But he still always wanted to raise the baby with Quinn. The little t-shirt he held in his hands had been worn by his baby. It made him hold the t-shirt tighter in his hand. “I would never run away from this.” he murmured, still looking through everything.
When she held the tickets in her hands, Puck’s breath caught in his throat. A chance to see their child again, slowly growing up, it would be the most wonderful and devastating thing at the same time. He wouldn’t miss out on the opportunity though, so he nodded along. “I’d love to go. We need to see her again.” said Puck, throwing all caution into the wind for his daughter.
